AIKIDO

Welcome to Charlotte Aikikai!  We are a martial arts school dedicated to the practice of a traditional Japanese martial art called Aikido.  Our practice focuses on,

• Improving body motor skills
• Stress management through healthy exercise
• Mental and physical discipline
• Self-defense techniques

Visitors are always welcome to watch or participate.  If you are planning to participate, please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.

We are located at 7829 Old Concord Rd, Charlotte, NC 28213.  We practice in the gymnasium building behind the University City Church.  Phone contact 704-921-2220.  Email – charlotteaikikai@yahoo.com.

Our practice schedule is Monday, Thursday @ 7-9 PM.  Saturday weapons class outdoors @ 10-11:30 AM, weather permitting.

Charlotte Aikikai is affiliated with Aikido Schools of Ueshiba. Visitors and students from other organizations are always welcome to practice with us.
